Report from the BP weekend
Report from BP weekend 6th- 8th July: 2007
Theme: Big Brother
The weekend was based on the popular television programme which saw the guides completing a number of challenges and activities during the weekend before they were “evicted” following the presentation of awards on the Sunday.
On Friday evening the guides had to choose the 5 items from their suitcase that they would require for the night. They also made pen portraits of each other and spent time getting to know each other.
On Saturday the guides were wakened by a variety of strange noises which were relayed through the house. They then had to complete an outdoor task before breakfast. The guides were split into two groups which had one group shelling peas( really they were being pampered) while they other group helped on outdoor tasks around Guy’s Farm. This included putting up fence posts after measuring and sawing them to size.
Saturday evening the Guides enjoyed a Pink Party.
Before getting breakfast on Sunday morning the Guides had to wash cars in their pyjamas. The tasks from Saturday were then reversed.
During the whole weekend Big Brother continually called housemates to the diary room so that they could be giving the next task or rewarded if they had achieved previous tasks.
The Guides thoroughly enjoyed the whole weekend and truly entered into the spirit of Big Brother.
