Waterparks, waterfalls, forest hiking, ski fields, a high ropes course, fairy tales, Hansel and Gretel, Black Forest Gateau – an amazing experience no matter how you look at it! Explore for yourself the magical Black Forest area of Germany for 7 days of outdoor adventurous activities.

During the trip Guides will have the opportunity to hike through ancient forest, travel to Schaffhausen to the Rhine Falls, eat apple strudel overlooking the lake at Titisee. Enjoy thrilling rides at Europark or a comfortable float towards the Feldberg summit in a 8-seater gondola lift. The upper station is at an altitude of 1,450 m.

Down the mountain is the ‘action forest’ for some high ropes fun and the local outdoor swimming pool to cool off from the hot sun. We will also be visiting one of Germany’s largest indoor waterparks – Badeparadiso! Waterslides, wave pools, obstacle courses and they are all heated and indoors. There are over 40 live palm trees in the complex.

Guides can learn and use their German language skills, enjoy typical German food, take part in sport games and crafts and cook sausages and sing songs over the fire pit.

Guides will be staying in the jugendherberge youth hostel Titisee on a full board basis. Flights from Manchester to Basel Mullhouse Airport and private coach transfer between the airport and the youth hostel are all included within the cost. Spaces are limited so please do not miss out on this fantastic trip.

The holiday is open to Guides age 10-14yrs, Rangers and  young leaders aged 14+
